Wines worth trying

For May I have chosen:

Tulloch, Hunter Valley, NSW.
2006 - Verdelho.

The weather is cooling so warm, hearty food makes the mouth water all the more. I think this well balanced, fruit filled wine would be excellent with pork chops and apple sauce.

G'day Phil!

I'll give it a go! Sounds good. I con't mind a Verdello.

I opened a Petaluma (Bridgewater Mill) Shiraz Viognier 2003 last night. Very delicious! You'll have to try it when you come over next month.

Thanks for the input.
The Shiraz viognier sounds lovely.

What did you eat with it?
I wound go for a beef goulash with creamy mash.

Right on the money Phil!

The shiraz-viognier went very nicely with Adele's Beef Provencale (hearty beef stew), steamed greens and potato mash! Delicious!

You may also like to try the Tim Knappstein Clare Valley Shiraz (2003) - very nice, totally tasty!
