wines worth trying

For August I have chosen a wine that was a bargain find for a friend of mine.

Jim Barry Wines, Clare Valley, South Australia.
2003 - Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon.

Bold and full from the Shiraz and with Cabernet tartness. This is Aussie Red, made for barbecued meat. What else can say!

Hey Phil,

I like the photo of the feet to start with - is that Joel?

Will make efforts to try your selection!

I discovered an awesome drop on the weekend whilst wandering around the Stirling Cellars.

Pirathon Shiraz 2005 (made by Kalleske). About $18-20. Delicious!

Barossa Valley Shiraz - rich plum colour, intense flavour! Stunning for the price.

Outstanding.
Joel's feet they are.

I was wondering whether you might be able to get me another couple of bottles of the Pinot Gris from Bridgewater Mill. It was great!

Hi Phil,

Sure can fella. Adele is coming over to Sydney next month - I'll send some across with her if you'd like.

How many would you like?

I will send you a bottle of Trevor Jones Gris Blanc aswell. Super drop!

That is a great shot of the big guys' feet!! Very cute.

Go well, Jacko
